Flood After Main Bursts

BALGOWNIE'S Balmoral St was awash last night after a water main burst, pouring an estimated thousands of litres onto the road.

The eastern end was worst affected, with police closing the road.

A resident saw water flooding onto the road before 7pm, running onto properties and into Cabbage Tree Creek. Sydney Water turned off the water last night.
