An exciting opportunity exists for an Assistant Accountant for a 12 Month Maternity Leave role in our Sydney Office, if you have a passion for numbers and have an interest in working in a fun and creative environment – join us!

 

 Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, your day will consist of:

  • Month end close process including processing month end journals, accruals and prepayments.
  • Consolidate Trial Balance/Balance Sheet accounts reconciliations
  • Intercompany accounts reconciliations & maintaining integrity of Trial Balance & GL
  • Assisting in year-end processing
  • Payroll processing for Australian (approx 150+ employees) and overseas entities (approx 10 employees) on a monthly basis
  • Wages and ledger reconciliation
  • Responding to any payroll queries
  • Preparation of payroll tax and Superannuation payments
  • Maintaining TB and preparing monthly financial reports for overseas entities
  • Maintaining Fixed Assets Register
  • Reviewing BAS

  • Intermediate/advanced IT skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Motivation to work independently as well as within a team
  • Ability to work and commit to deadlines
