Senior Policy Analyst
- Do you want to play a part in evidence-based public policy changes to help beat cancer?
The Policy and Advocacy Unit is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic person to undertake policy research, analysis and consultations to support its advocacy for improvements in public policy that will reduce the impact of cancer in NSW.
Reporting to the Policy and Advocacy Manager, you will be responsible for
- developing CCNSW positions on key public policy issues by reviewing and analysing evidence
- managing research projects that underpin policy positions and advocacy campaigns,
- working with internal and external stakeholders to develop CCNSW briefing papers, submissions and reports.
To fulfil this role, you will need:
- relevant postgraduate qualifications,
- experience in health policy development, analysis and advocacy
- excellent critical appraisal skills,
- a demonstrated ability to communicate and liaise with a range of stakeholders,
- an ability to write high-quality policy and research papers and
- the capacity to take initiative and adapt priorities as required.
