Retail Operations Director

This unique retail business, have a three year strategic plan in place to grow their retail operations from 90 to 500 in the next year within Australia. Due to this rapid expansion they urgently require an experienced retail operations manager with extensive experience in expanding retail operations.
This individual will be one of the most senior appointments within the business and take full responsibility for the profit and loss of operations, which accounts for 95% of the business.
You will take accountability for project management and developing, refining and documenting operating procedures to establish performance goals and resource allocations. Ideally you will have previous retail industry experience gained within music, DVD‘s, Kiosks, digital, entertainment or signage within an operations capacity and have proven experience of managing full profit and loss.
Key skills required to successfully perform this role include strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate a team. A solid working knowledge of budgeting, sales, business development and strategic planning is essential along with a proactive approach to problem solving with a strong technological ability.
Your direct team will include inventory/buying, customer service, technical support, marketing and software development.
