Microsoft Solutions Sales Manager / BDM

Hands-on role for an experienced Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to join an international consulting organisation selling Microsoft Solutions to prospective clients.

    You will be responsible for growing the Microsoft Solutions business, selling SharePoint Portal and Applicatio n Development services, Exchange Messaging Platform upgrades and Migration and Microsoft CRM Customisation and Deployment. You will be expected to generate leads, target and qualify prospects, develop and implement sales strategies,respond to opportunities, write proposals,deliver sales presentations and provide executive oversight during project delivery.
    The keys to success include your ability to significantly grow the Microsoft Solutions business, to meet quarterly sales quota, identify new clients, leveraging existing client relationships, cross-selling Microsoft solutions, as well as exploring and defining new SharePoint/Exchange/CRM service offerings
    Some travel, mostly along the Northern and Southern Region of Australia, is required.
    The ideal candidate will have demonstrable track record of achievement in Microsoft Technology solutions. Excellent communication and presentation, particularly to executive board level, is mandatory. To be considered for this role, you must have :
  • At least 5+ years in the IT consulting industry, mostly in a business development and sales capacity and a demonstrable ability to sell Microsoft Technology based solution in the Australian marketplace preferably financial services.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft SharePoint portals and content management solutions. SharePoint Sales background is mandatory. Sales experience with Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft CRM highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated and proven experience developing and building relationships at the executive level in the Australian industry with proven experience selling Microsoft solutions to clients and strategic accounts nationwide.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • A self-starter committed to finding creative solutions to difficult problems. Ability to work in team environment.
  • Business Knowledge - Demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills using knowledge, experience and understanding of Cloud Computing concepts.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written skills.
