The Clinical Leader Adult Mental Health Service is responsible for providing expert clinical and service development advice to the management and staff of Greater Southern Area Health Service on matters relating to Adult Mental Health Services.

This will include
The provision of clinical leadership, supervision, and support to Adult Mental Health clinicians of all professional disciplines
The provision of education to mental health staff and to staff of other services in partnership; the implementation of State/Federal Government Initiatives;
The development and implementation of projects as required; and may include direct clinical work.
Identifying and developing relations with community partners to facilitate collaborative partnerships in the prevention and early intervention of social and emotional health problems.

The appointee will primarily work with Adult Mental Health Teams within the geographical locations serviced by the Sector of the Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol (MHDA) Service in which the position is located. This position will cover both Bega Valley and Cooma Mental Health Service. Engagement with staff in other areas may be required.
