We have an opportunity for an experienced Product Certifications Administrator to join the R&D team based at Rydalmere. The role is responsible for achieving and maintaining product certifications, working in collaboration with all other parts of the organisation in particular, Marketing, test laboratories and product certifiers. Other aspects of the role include providing advice regarding product certification needs, paths and status. The role will also develop and execute detailed action plans that achieve the targeted certifications.

To succeed you MUST have:

  • Tertiary training in a scientific or engineering discipline that is relevant to appliance product testing and certification
  • Ability to work in multifunctional teams, and with multiple simultaneous demands
  • Competency in project leadership and planning
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong technical negotiating skills
  • Understanding of Quality Management
  • Understanding of laboratory management methods
  • Experience with product regulatory infrastructure, including, product standards, test methods, regulations and certification processes
  • Strong Microsoft skills
